Welcome to our school's website. On behalf of an amazing group of young boys and girls, wonderful parents, and a very dedicated staff, I welcome you to Oakland's website. Please take the time to learn more about our school by viewing the various web pages. Our school includes students in Pre-kindergarten through First Grade. Our student population is diverse, serving both rural and military students. At Oakland, we believe that you, the parent, is your child's first and most influential teacher. Therefore, your involvement in your child's success at school is a key factor. We encourage you to become involved.... please volunteer. We are committed to the growth of EVERY child, and we will work very hard to make sure your child has a positive and rewarding learning experience. Please communicate often with your child's teachers and ask your child everyday to tell you something about his/her day at school.
